The Cambridge English Proficiency exam, or the CPE, is the highest-level exam Cambridge English offers. Passing this test proves that a student has mastered English to almost a native level and should be able to work or study in any English Environment. This test is in a pass-or-fail format, and those who pass will be able to keep this certificate forever, as it does not expire. The exam is just under four hours and includes questions on various topics, such as reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, writing ability, listening comprehension, and speaking ability.
